Communications Committee

Who We Are: The Communications Committee supports the PHCDC by implementing the organization’s communications plan, technologies, web site advancements and communications vehicles including the SMS messaging system, email newsletter, social media, press relations, and other initiatives and projects. The Committee is especially beneficial to those who want to be in the know about events, the organization’s involvement in the community, and business community news.

What We Do: This is a hands-on committee that oversees media relations, social media platforms, assisting with web site content, publishing group SMS messages, and contributing to the email newsletter and printed publications. All members are welcome to join; the skills of communications, marketing and web development professionals are especially needed. Very often the Communications Committee is asked to expedite tasks in order to communicate in a timely manner prior to PHCDC events and initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Communicating with members and the community is at the heart of the PHCDC’s Mission. The Committee is essential to this outreach, assisting the staff by leveraging all channels:
