The Penn Hills CDC has recently been accepted into a program created by the Allegheny Conference on Community Development called the Strengthening Communities Partnership. (SCP)
By leveraging assistance and professional services provided by the SCP, the PHCDC will invest significant time and resources into research and data collection throughout the community to determine the best ways to assist our residents and businesses, neighborhood by neighborhood.
Our goal in this project over the next 5 years is to build a coalition of residents throughout Penn Hills to identify programs and projects that will benefit our neighborhoods, and acquire the funding necessary to execute these programs and build a stronger Penn Hills community.
This project is currently in its infancy and announcements regarding progress will be ongoing throughout 2020.
